Thai auto output rose more than 8 percent


BANGKOK, Thailand's auto market may rebound in the second half of the year after a positive sign based on output growth in March.

Surapong said that exports are a concern because the majority of exports to the continent except Asia and Oceania dropped . Eco demand from Europe and North America is declining too.

Asia, Oceania and the Middle East currently accounts for 75 percent of Thailand's total exports.

Federation of Thai Industries has forecast that domestic sales from 75 thousand to 78 thousand units this year down from 2.5 percent to 6.2 percent from a year earlier and a decline for 4 consecutive years.
